Chelsea Foundation
Chelsea Champions
The Chelsea Champions project offers schools the opportunity to work exclusively with CFCF, delivering a unique programme of activities that aims to build capacity and coping mechanisms in young people through universal, targeted and individual interventions. We have employed a Project Officer per school who will is tasked with coordinating all of the Foundation's Community & Education projects, alongside developing emotional well-being and resilience schemes based on the individual needs of each school.
Our ambition is to take Chelsea Football Club to the heart of the community, supporting young people to become resilient young adults, with the mechanisms to cope with the challenges of modern society upon leaving compulsory education. Becoming the central point ofcontact for Youth Services, Well-being Charities, Local Authorities and Pastoral/Behaviour Leads in school.
The Chelsea Champions will aim to increase young people’s resilience through a detailed programme of activities that will enhance the opportunities for the hardest to reach young people to fulfil their potential.
The Chelsea Champion will oversee all of the Chelsea FC Foundation’s Funded Projects within their allocated school and will collaborate with programme leads to remove barriers for participation and increase opportunities within Community and Education programmes.
Here at TBCC The Champion has a Y11 focus group and spends much of their time working on pastoral support for students.
